The ER furnace is an energy-saving rapid aluminium melting furnace developed for centralized melting at aluminium foundries and die casters. Its design draws on the know-how gained from melting 150,000 tons of aluminium a year, delivering high molten metal quality.

The furnace consists of a preheating and melting chamber, a holding chamber, and a charging system. It is fully automatic, incorporating melt level detection, melt temperature control, and automatic charging for energy, labor, and space savings as well as safety. It can also be combined with an automatic metal distribution system.

Features of the ER Furnace

Superior Molten Metal Quality

Luminous flame burners minimize hard-spot formation and gas absorption, and the furnace structure prevents oxides from flowing into the holding chamber, yielding high-quality molten metal.

Calm Melt Surface, Low Oxidation

Low-velocity combustion burners keep the melt surface free of turbulence, holding oxidation loss to about 1%.

Low Noise

Combustion noise stays below 80 phons around the furnace.

Easy Cleaning

The interior has no blind spots, making cleaning easy, and residue is easily removed — preventing oxide adhesion before it starts.

Low Maintenance Cost

Relining is rarely needed, with a proven record of more than two years without repair.

Low Energy Cost (in Actual Operation)

Thermal efficiency above 50%; fuel consumption below 550,000 kcal per ton.

Gas: city gas, natural gas, propane, butane, etc.
Oil: heavy fuel oil (Bunker A, Bunker B), kerosene, etc.
